Support and network security specialist

The mission

We are recruiting a network security specialist within the Network Security support team who will be responsible for the range of appliances and associated products. The main duties are as follows:

• Responsible for incidents involving networks, systems and the security of our products, as well as the infrastructures in which they are integrated.
• Reproducing customer issues via physical or virtual models.
• Escalating incidents to R&D department.
• Documentation: Maintaining knowledge base, technical notes
• Online technical presentations to our partners.

Training

Location: Lille/Paris (France)

Department: TAC (Technical Assistance Centre) Network Security

Type of contract: Permanent full-time position with immediate start

Your profile

Required special skills

- Good command of TCP/IP networks

- Knowledge of IP, VLANs (802.1Q), and NAT routing

- Network capture analysis (tcpdump, wireshark)

- Knowledge of Windows environments, UNIX at GNU/LINUX systems

- Good command of technical English and German

- Comfortable with oral and written communication

Desirable special skills

- French is mandatory

- Experience with IT security (firewall, IDS, IPS, VPN, PKI, SSH, coding, authentication, etc.)

- Knowledge of protocols such as: HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DHCP, LDAP, etc.

- Shell script (bash, sh)

- Dynamic routing

- Virtualization (vSphere, XEN)

You should also be inquisitive, and enjoy challenges and solving all types of problems. Ideally, the candidate should have experience in the areas of networks and security.
