Expert Threat Intelligence: Experience and Skills
️⭐Who we are looking for?
To strengthen the SCSL team, Edouard is looking for an Expert Threat Intelligence. You are a specialist in analyzing threats and identifying malicious actors, with solid expertise in SOC or OSINT, and you master the tools and methods necessary to create a functional and effective Threat Intelligence unit. You are the person we're looking for.
The essentials:
- Advanced knowledge of Threat Intelligence and OSINT.
- Up-to-date understanding of current threats.
- Mastery of tools used for identifying, categorizing, and classifying threats (OpenCTI, MISP, HoneyPot, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, LUA, Python, etc.)
✏️ What is the job description for Expert Threat Intelligence?
The SCSL team is responsible for improving the protection offered to our clients in the face of ever-evolving threats. The Threat Intelligence unit will bring knowledge of threats to the table, which is essential to better detect and protect our clients.
Your mission will primarily consist of:
- Identifying and defining the necessary material, software, and human resources to set up a functional Threat Intelligence unit.
- Collaborating closely with teams responsible for creating protections within Stormshield products.
- Monitoring topics related to the reverse engineering team to help characterize threats.
- Assisting in the automated generation of IOCs to populate our MISP database.
- Contributing to the design and development of Stormshield TIPs by identifying the best tools and flows to suit our needs.
The Threat Intelligence conducted by Stormshield focuses mainly on collecting information about attack tactics (TTPs) used by malicious actors, identifying threats for industrial sectors, and ensuring information protection. The scope is primarily geographic rather than detailed relationships between attack groups (which is not the primary goal of this role).
