Hardware Engineer: Experience and Skills
️⭐Who we are looking for?
Are you from the IT world or network system integration and looking to work in R&D? Within a dynamic and creative team, you will contribute to strengthening our hardware team on our flagship solutions. Our security products can be compared to IT servers of various sizes, and our current range includes over 20 different products.
You will work on several key areas:
- Technology watch on components and products;
- Technical follow-up with suppliers;
- Qualification of Stormshield components and products;
- Compliance with standards and certifications;
- Quality monitoring of defective products;
- Collaboration with our Taiwanese suppliers.
The hardware team holds a cross-functional position within the company and interacts with numerous departments (technical support, supply chain, customer service, marketing, and sales)
✏️ What is the job description for the Hardware Engineer?
- Technological monitoring of components and products for documentation updates (standards) and laboratory test reports.
- Validation of new components and products (RAM, CPU, chipsets, SSDs, etc.) and writing of related documentation.
- Validation of hardware/firmware compatibility on all products in the range.
- Definition of technical specifications to ensure product longevity.
- Use of various tools, software, and scripts to validate and configure products in production and after deployment in customer environments.
- Close collaboration with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure compliance with standards and certifications.
- Design of hardware equipment to improve or renew our platforms while maintaining the best possible quality/cost ratio.
- Participate in improving product manufacturing by sharing your technical expertise and ensuring strong collaboration between teams.
- Working closely with our suppliers and production to maintain a strong relationship and ensure the best quality in terms of deliverables.

- Materials: Physical products (rack servers, network appliances, secure fiber connections).
