QA Automation Engineer: Experience and Skills

️⭐Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a candidate with a strong mindset who feels able to integrate with our values, has a sense of responsibility, and a strong appetite for IT security. We are looking for someone with several years of experience in software quality and particularly in test automation.

The manager of the MUM team, Nina, is looking for a QA Engineer to carry out testing activities on our product.

✏️What is the job description for the QA Automation Engineer?

  • Participate in the development of the product testing strategy;
  • Design test scenarios and ensure the automation of these tests;
  • Analyze test results;
  • Characterize, prioritize, and report on any anomalies encountered during the testing phases;
  • Contribute to improving the testing process;
  • Be a reference point on the subject of test automation and help other QA engineers to develop their skills in this area.

⚙️What is the technological environment?

  • References: Jira, Xray, Confluence.
  • Automated testing: Cucumber, Playwright, Typescript.
  • Continuous integration: Gitlab CI, Git.
  • Methodology: Agility, Scrum, BDD.

This team consists of 25 people (Developers, Quality Engineers, DevOps, Tech Leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners), divided into three teams and organized into two-week sprints.

✔️ Recruitment Process

  1. An initial exchange with William, our recruitment officer, to discuss who you are and your current career goals.
  2. A phone interview with Nina, accompanied by the Technical Leader. This is a first step to explain in more detail the team's functioning and the vision of the position.
  3. A technical interview with Nina and some of your future team members, based on development exercises.
  4. A final meeting with Audrey to evaluate your skills and alignment with Stormshield's values and company culture.
